G. Alice Woolverton, Ph.D.

I am a mental health researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

My research focuses on three areas in youth/young adults:​​

1. Complex psychological effects of witnessing distressing content

2. Mental health help-seeking, coping, and treatment engagement

3. Increasing anti-oppressive behaviors

I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and a B.A. in English from Amherst College. I completed predoctoral clinical training with pediatric patients at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School.
